Appointments:
To schedule an appointment, please call 714-241-1777. We also have a patient portal, which can be used at any time. Please make appointments for physical exams and consultations by calling in advance. We strive to see acutely ill patients the same day you call. Naturally, it helps to call early in the day if you want your child to be seen that same day. If you are unable to keep your appointment or are going to be late, please call us as soon as possible.
We can accommodate some requests for a specific doctor if the doctor is following a specific problem with your child. We feel it is important for you and your child to become familiar with all the doctors at some time.
After-Hours:
Occasionally, your child may become ill after regular office hours. If you feel that your child’s symptoms are life threatening or require emergency attention, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest Emergency Room. If there is a question or concern that is urgent, that is not life threatening and you feel that it cannot wait until morning when the office re-opens, you may call the doctor after-hours. You can reach us after-hours by calling 714-241-1777, and follow the prompts. The doctor will be paged and will return your call as soon as they can.
Questions that arise after hours related to minor, non-life threatening illnesses, general medical questions, requests for laboratory test results and prescription refills should wait until regular office hours. Non-emergency issues are best addressed during regular office hours when our nurses may access your child’s record or consult with one of our physicians, if necessary.
Accepted Insurance Carriers:
We participate with most carriers. However due to recent changes in the insurance plans offered, we highly recommend that you check with your insurance company to make sure that Dr. Tandon is an in-network provider. Our staff is always happy to help you with questions or concerns about insurance. We accept most major insurance plans such as:
