Smita Tandon, MD is a teaching clinic. We host medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner students who learn to provide comprehensive care in an outpatient setting. As an active teaching clinic, we are able to offer high quality medical care because our office participates in clinical research studies and our students and practitioners review the latest research and publications to care for your child’s specific health care needs in the most cost-effective way.
Our clinic follows clinical care guidelines laid out by both local and national agencies such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
As a patient of our clinic, you may be seen by either male or female medical students or residents and their supervising physician.
Dr. Tandon is an accredited Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of California Irvine and Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Midwestern University, Arizona and Touro University, California. She is affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial Hospital, and Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
